Based on reports of poisoning incidents from pesticides recently announced by the General Children's Hospital of Athens 'Pan. & Aglaia Kyriakou' and reported under protocol no. 3807/43695/11-4-2016 by the Ministry of Rural Development, the Directorate of Agricultural Economy and Veterinary Services of the Region of Larissa informs the public, and especially pesticide users, that the use of masks, gloves, and full-body protective suits is required when handling chemical substances, even those considered low-risk, during tasks of phytosanitary importance.
